I am starting to work with my yoga videos a little more and make them more accessible to people like you. I hope you like this new one I've uploaded today-it took me a little longer than expected to edit it. Because of that, and because there are only so many hours in a day, and I teach yoga for a good chunk of them, and have kids and a messy house to deal with as well.....today's post will be short.
I will say though, that I feel this pose is perfect for many of us now with all the weirdness going on in the world. Fear causes us to be insular and shut down. We are then unable to help ourselves and others. I encourage all of us to stay conscious and present. This thought passed through my head the other day: Be afraid or be conscious. It has been a good reminder for me to stay connected with the truth. Such as: I am ok in this moment and I am strong and healthy. These are good mantras for me so I can continue to REACH OUT and not shut down.
So, I've been gardening a little, enjoying growing herbs (inside and out) and also...here's the big news....I experimented the other day with a pineapple-celery juice. WOW. I know. It's wild. I'm crazy like that. I mean, there I was just doing celery juice every morning, then I REALLY branched out and went all koo-koo! Nah. Seriously, it was pretty cool. But I went back to my mainstay of JUST Celery this morning. Well, I added a little lime. I got a little crazy.
Yeah, you know you're deep in when drinking chaga tea before your celery juice is being "bad." Sigh. The foibles of the hard-core. Now you know, us plant-based people, we're not perfect.
Well folks, enjoy the video today. Take care of yourselves. Be good to yourselves. EAT WELL, because if your body isn't functioning great, you can't give your best. Get enough sleep. Follow your intuition.
